I am the unfortunate person who had a terrible encounter with this business and let me tell you first hand of how terrible of humans these people are. Last Monday my car was parked behind their business in carparks that DID not belong to them, I found a note from search mortgages under my windscreen wiper but this wasn't all that was left by the hands of Paul Lumsden. A scratch was also visible across my bonnet. I presumed this must have been an accident so I went into the business to have a civil adult conversation with one of the owners Ben. Ben was pleasant and he stressed the fact that no body but the partners of the firm had permission to put notes on cars. Wednesday I found out that the person who did this was Paul. May I point out that these car parks have NO SIGNS SAYING they belong to the business. Before admitting that the note came from their business they continued to deny it saying that some one else must have used their LOGO and put it on the car...ummmm no! Then on Wednesday Paul rang me with his smug attitude saying he did it but whats the problem its only a scratch? No apology was made by Paul. Out of nowhere I received an abusive text message - I did not know who it was so I rang the number only to be greeted by the landlord of the building swearing, threatening and disgusting name calling. The question was how did this disgusting human get my number? Of course it was your "trustworthy loyal" business manager David. David couldn't really give a flying f about this and he went on to tell lies about how Paul did apologise for the damage to my NEW car. Um no, no David he did not. If he did apologise I would have let it go and put it down to an accident. So ask yourself this perspective clients of Search Mortgages, how would you feel giving people like Paul and David the responsibility of your finance/ mortgage? Considering they are untrustworthy, unloyal liars. This was a car for goodness sakes imagine them handling your hard earn finances. Ben take my advice and get these two out of your business they really are damaging the name.
