I honestly couldn’t recommend Caleb highly enough. We first had a meeting with Caleb on a Wednesday afternoon where we went through our situation, income and what we were looking for. Our loan wasn’t exactly straightforward, as my fiancé is currently on a sponsorship visa and wasn’t eligible for PR for another 6 months. I’d spoken to a few other brokers earlier in the year, when there weren’t many houses on the market, and they were all quite hesitant about our situation. It left us feeling pretty unsure about whether we’d even be able to get the loan we wanted and whether it was worth our time looking at properties. One broker even suggested we would have to pay foreign investor tax regardless of the loan structure. We were actually referred to Caleb by friends who were in a very similar situation so they had already been through the process themselves. Caleb was completely different. He reassured us that it wouldn’t be an issue and explained how we could structure the loan. He went through our income, expenses and liabilities and then told us to start looking at properties. He said to call him anytime if we found something we liked, even though we hadn’t yet received formal pre-approval. Only 3 days later, we had inspected 6 properties on a Saturday and one of them was everything we wanted. We instantly fell in love with it. I messaged Caleb and within an hour he had sent through all the information we needed about the property, including valuations and everything else we needed to make an offer. The property was pulled from the market just two days after we inspected it, so we were able to just get our offer in. After a bit of back and forth with the agent, we eventually got a really solid outcome. We then submitted our loan documents and Caleb had us formally approved in less than a week. He also managed to secure us a rate lower than what the bank was advertising. As first home buyers, he guided us through the entire process step-by-step and was always available to answer our questions. He’s genuinely the type of broker who would probably answer your call at 10pm to help you out (although don’t actually call him that late 😂). Couldn’t be happier with the service we received and the outcome Caleb achieved for us. We’ll definitely be recommending him to all our friends and family. Thanks again Caleb!
