A fantastic, well-oiled machine! SCFS have a great team of experts to help all things home loan. We had a welcome consultation with Chris who then handed us over to Adam who was our mortgage broker. We couldn’t be happier with Adam, he is top notch. Always happy to answer questions (and we had many as first time buyers!) and super efficient with calculating and assessing different loan options tailored to our situation. Once we had our (very competitive) loan and we had made an offer on a house, we were then assisted by Grant, who specialises in the settlement process. Grant was great at keeping us up to date with communication and making sure all the specific details were accurate. During the home offer process we experienced another mortgage broker trying to swoop in and poach us to secure a deal after claiming they could get us a better loan offer. We didn’t appreciate this underhanded tactic (apparently common in the field) but entertained him to see what numbers he could come back with. This outside mortgage broker was not competitive at all compared to the loan offers Adam could provide and didn’t have anywhere close to the clear, genuine communication of the SCFS team. We are so happy we chose SCFS and will continue to use them for any future loans, thanks so much team!
