About James Tran

James Tran brings over a decade of experience in the finance industry to Claremont Financial. His career spans major Australian financial institutions including CBA, NAB, and Bankwest, where he developed a deep understanding of lending and customer-focused finance solutions.

For the past seven years, James has held senior roles at leading mortgage aggregation group AFG. His outstanding performance earned him accolades such as Business Relationship Manager of the Year at AFG in 2020 and 2021.

Most recently, he held the position of National Sales Manager within AFG Home Loans’ white label lending division, where he led the distribution team responsible for delivering tailored lending solutions to AFG’s network of over 4,000 brokers.

James’ extensive industry knowledge covers all facets of lending, from residential and investment loans to complex credit structures. As a seasoned property investor, he brings a practical, strategic perspective to every client interaction, helping them navigate the lending landscape with confidence and clarity.

James holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University with a double major in Finance and Marketing.
