When I first reached out to Jason at Shern Advisory, I was expecting him to not be able to help and tell me I needed to wait another 2 years before applying for a mortgage. I’m sole trader with a very new business, and a large portion of our household income comes from seasonal casual work and to top it off, the deposit was coming from the sale of crypto currency. To my surprise he seemed confident he’d be able to find a solution. When he came back to me with some potential products, I was fully expecting to pay outrageous interest rates to reflect our unusual income situation. To my surprise, he was able to negotiate a VERY competitive rate with the lender. The lender did need us to jump through hoops (not surprising given our income situation) and Jason was proactive and walked us through it every step of the way. Unbelievable professionalism, service and problem solving and I’ll be using him for all future purchases. I’d recommend Shern advisory to anyone, but ESPECIALLY if you’re an ABN holder, crypto currency investor, or have any other complex situation that your run of the mill broker can’t accommodate.
