My partner found Jim online over a year ago, back when buying a home still felt impossible to us. To be honest, I was sceptical, buying a house felt so out of reach and the whole process seemed confusing and overwhelming. Looking back now, I genuinely don’t think we could have done it without Jim. From the beginning, Jim was incredibly patient, encouraging and, most importantly, kind. He always made us feel comfortable asking questions (even the same ones more than once!) and reassured us there were no “dumb questions.” He took the time to explain everything clearly and walked us through every step of the process. Even while we were still saving, Jim spent time with us over video calls helping us understand budgets, loans and how everything worked. When we unexpectedly found a house we loved before our loan was organised, he didn’t treat it like an inconvenience, he got excited for us and jumped straight into action, helping organise everything quickly, including extra support like the First Home Owner Grant. What stood out most was how much he genuinely cared. During settlement, a last-minute paperwork issue could have cost us thousands, and Jim went above and beyond making calls, researching, emailing and doing everything possible to help get it fixed in time. Buying your first home can be stressful and overwhelming, but having someone patient, knowledgeable and genuinely caring by your side makes all the difference. We are so grateful for everything Jim has done for us and would recommend him in a heartbeat.
