In my long search for a new home (over 2 years) I relied on Justin consistently teach me about bridging finance, to understand what conservative meant for me, what a stretch meant for me, and ultimately, what a measured and manageable approach to a home purchase meant for me in terms of a mortgage. Justin is so consistent in his approach - he is always diligent, commercial, pragmatic, engaging, warm, polite and whip smart. On a personal level he is delightful. Once upon a time there lived a young newlywed couple. They were deeply in love and desperate to begin their life together. With a suitcase of dreams and steady jobs, they ventured into a bank (the banks identity will be omitted from this true story) to seek a loan. The young couple were wise with their money, amassing a sizeable saving with very stable jobs. Their dreams were not of lavish mansions or grand acreage, but of a modest house near their place of employment. However, as most tales go, there was a villain. The banker sat at his desk armed with a laptop, notepad and pens bearing the logos of branch he so proudly represented. It did not take this man long to cheerfully offer our borrowing power. How exciting! The young couple held hands in anxious excitement. Hearts pounded. Butterflies spun intricate patterns in their stomachs as the man scratched a number on a piece of paper and proudly pushed in across his desk to the couple. It read: $200,000. The butterflies turned into lead as the couple's dreams were crushed. The man, sensing the emotions from the young couple, attempted to offer words of wisdom and financial advice. He pointed out that $200,000 would fetch a unit somewhere so long as we were willing to drive. Defeated, the couple walked out. Empty handed. Embarrassed. Disheartened. Fear not good reader, for if you made it this far in the tale, you have undoubtedly held out hope! You see, the villain was not the man doing his job, but the banks who don't value people. That my friends is where our saviour comes. The year was 2018, close to a year after the soul crushing trip to the bank. Our young couple ventured off in search of a hero. That's when they found him... Their knight in shining armour riding astride his humble Subaru stallion in Kew. His name? Justin Baboucek. Justin wasted no time whatsoever in running the numbers and promptly delivered a figure far superior to that of the bank. He made the process simple and supported the young couple the whole way. Much like this review, the stars started to align. In 2019, the young couple built their first home with their knight's guidance. In 2022, they sold their house and purchased a new house, again with their knight's support. Six years later in 2024, the (not so) young couple once again sent out a plea for assistance, this time to purchase a house on wheels. Once a young newlywed couple with crushed dreams, they now find themselves living in their forever home with their two children who are incredibly eager to venture off in their new caravan and write their own stories. Wherever they go, they owe it to compassion, hard work and dedication. If you too value those things, then I highly suggest you speak to our knight at 1st Street - Sir Justin Baboucek. It's not 'the end', merely the beginning, but I'm sure they will live happily ever after.
