We were recommended to try the Loan Market team a couple of years ago and we tentatively started the ball rolling. As our savings hadn’t kept pace with rising house prices we had to stall things, but thanks to our annoying & intrusive rental real estate inspectors we were spurred into action in Oct 24 to get out of renting and make it work with what we had saved. The LM team had our file ready to go with only a couple of updates needed and we quickly got a mortgage pre-approval after we asked for lots of pricing options with suitable lenders, and we altered our search for our forever home. Liam kept pace, quickly responding to our changing needs (even on his days off!) and within weeks we’d made an offer, been accepted & formally mortgage approved and the conveyancing period started. Amelia was ultra efficient with all things settlement related and made sure we were all good to go as settlement day approached mid Jan 25. My first port of call will be Loan Market when we look to see if there are other mortgage options to explore in the future. We don’t see our settlement as the end of our relationship with our Loan Market team. In summary: do I recommend? Definitely!
