Outstanding support from Lionel and the Mortgage Works Team I couldn’t recommend Lionel and the Mortgage Works Team highly enough. He was instrumental in helping me navigate the finance side of my SMSF property purchase, which was a complex and very time-sensitive process. There were literally hundreds of pages of documentation and plenty of finance terminology that could have made the process overwhelming. Lionel had a great ability to cut through the jargon, explain the important details clearly and make sure I understood what I was signing and why it mattered. What really stood out was that Lionel went well beyond what I expected from a mortgage broker. He helped me with things outside the immediate finance process, including connecting me with a lawyer when I needed one. His willingness to help and take ownership made a huge difference. Also support me outside of work hours was immensely helpful. The speed of execution was also critical given the tight timeframe around the SMSF purchase, and I genuinely don’t think we could have completed the process as quickly and smoothly without Lionel. This review is long overdue! I would like to say a massive thank you to Lionel and his team for supporting myself, my brother and my mother through property settlement. We first engaged with Lionel and his team back in 2024 to discuss property settlement and buying my father's share of the property. Lionel and his team were extremely thorough compiling information, liaising with his team, lenders and our legal team throughout the long 2+ year process. Thanks to Lionel and his team we were able to secure a loan with a bank in order to purchase the other share of the property and have the property settlement sorted before the property was forced to be sold by way of court order. I cannot thank Lionel and his team enough for all the hard work they completed, their patience with us, all the afterhours work that was completed, and his positive and upbeat energy whenever we spoke with him.
