Malcolm Hester

Malcolm Hester is a friendly and down-to-earth mortgage broker and entrepreneur. He founded Elevate Financial Group in 2015 after working at an accountancy firm called Pitcher Partners for seven years. Malcolm's goal was to help people achieve their dream of owning a home or investment property by providing top-notch credit advice.

His decision to start his own company was fuelled by his passion for helping others and his belief that he could make a positive impact on people's lives. Through his professional experience, Malcolm discovered that mortgage repayments were the biggest expense for most households. Many people either ignored their mortgages or thought it was too difficult to switch banks. With his extensive knowledge and expertise, Malcolm knew he could provide credit advice that would help people achieve their dreams.

And so, Elevate Financial Group was born. It is a boutique mortgage broking firm that takes a personal approach and focuses on meeting the unique needs of each client. Malcolm and his team deliver a premium service that exceeds client expectations, going above and beyond to ensure their satisfaction.

In addition to being a mortgage broker, Malcolm is an experienced Credit Advisor and Chartered Accountant. He has several qualifications, including a Bachelor of Commerce, a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting, and certificates in Finance & Mortgage Broking. His dedication and hard work were recognised by Buyers Choice Home Loan Advisory Service, which awarded him the 'Highest Volume Lodged 2015' within the Victorian Broker Academy.

When Malcolm is not busy working, he enjoys spending time doing the things he loves. You might find him swinging a golf club, taking his dog Marley for a walk, tending to his vegetable garden, or relaxing with his family in Ocean Grove. Malcolm believes in the importance of work-life balance and cherishes the moments he can spend with his loved ones and pursue his hobbies.
