Centrone Finance — and in particular their two main superstars, Matt Centrone and Victor Li — are genuinely exceptional in the world of financial brokerage. I honestly would not hesitate to say that they are among the very best in Adelaide. I say this having spent more than half a decade actively engaging with the process of buying a property. For various reasons, it was put off, but over that time I crossed paths with several brokers across Adelaide. Unfortunately, my experiences were consistently disappointing. Some lacked breadth of knowledge (particularly specific to my professional background), others had the knowledge but lacked warmth or patience, and at times I simply felt that I wasn’t an important enough client to warrant much attention. Then, just over a year ago, I was introduced to Centrone Finance — and the difference was extraordinary. What struck me immediately, and what continued to set them apart from everyone else I had encountered, was their kindness, warmth, patience and genuine care. To say I am not the most financially savvy would be an understatement. I came into this process with very little understanding of the financial side of buying a property, and Vic was incredibly patient in helping me navigate it all. Vic ultimately took ownership of my property journey and was stuck with me for most of the process — and still is! He is incredibly patient, always taking the time to explain things to me, often more than once, and always in great detail. He was also remarkably available, working around my demanding job hours and making himself available across different days and hours whenever I needed help. I am very aware that Centrone Finance works with many clients whose property dealings are worth significantly more than mine, but at no point was I ever made to feel less important or less deserving of their time and attention. What impressed me equally was the way Matt and Vic approached my loan and my options. They would continually put their heads together, review and question different possibilities, and think creatively about how to help me achieve what I needed. They worked towards finding a loan amount that would allow me to purchase a property that met my hopes in terms of size, location and value, while also making the most of the benefits available to me, including first-home buyer concessions, stamp duty relief and the benefits available to medical professionals. Most importantly, they listened. They listened to my worries, my concerns, my hopes and my wishes, and consistently went above and beyond to help me. Every time I thought I was probably being annoying or asking too many questions, they simply listened, explained things again and helped me move forward. I cannot thank Centrone Finance enough for helping me achieve something that, for a long time, felt quite daunting. They helped me navigate an incredibly competitive property market in a way that never made me feel overwhelmed or frightened — instead, I felt supported, informed and cared for throughout the entire journey. Vic, in particular, has genuinely helped me achieve a dream. He has helped me build a first home for myself and my daughter — a home that I am incredibly proud of — and he helped make the journey not only manageable, but exciting. That is a remarkable contrast to how I had felt before meeting Centrone Finance, when I often felt confused, dismissed or like just another person in a long line of clients. If you are looking for a truly personal experience with brokers who are intelligent, knowledgeable, incredibly hardworking and genuinely invested in their clients, I cannot recommend Centrone Finance highly enough. I honestly adore these guys. They have been so much more than just my brokers — they have felt like people who were genuinely in my corner throughout one of the biggest and most important journeys of my life. This is my third time working with the team at Centrone Finance. First home mortgage with mum almost 10 years ago, then car loan, now building with the missus.
