Following on the reply from owner below ... Considering that you do not reply to my emails but rather choose to reply publicly where your reviews are clearly more important than the facts, let me set the record straight publicly. In our initial meeting, you did not at ALL indicate that you would not be able to assist us. In fact, you said the complete opposite - you drew out a scenario for us and clearly indicated that it would be an easy 5 minute application with our current mortgage provider. The next step was for me to do our personal budgeting and get back to you, which I did. You have blatantly misrepresented the facts in your reply to this review. I was NEVER after free advice and never expected it either. I stick by my 1 star rating. I have had a very unprofessional dealings with Mike. We went to meet him at his office in June and had a good meeting which needed a follow-up, which we never received. I prompted Mike for an answer a week later and sent through further information, and received a reply with an excuse but he promised to get back to me early the following week. I did not receive a reply. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and contacted him again in August, still no reply. At the end of September I tried again (I'm a patient person) asking him if there was a reason he didn't want to do this work and actually received a reply to he had absent staff members and new staff members he was training (surely that's what people in business do??) but that he promised to get back to me as soon as he could. It is now November and I still have not heard back from him. This whole process has been highly unprofessional and I would not recommend this company to anyone!

I discovered that buying a home, and the move, was far more complex than I ever imagined. It seems that the realestate industry is skewed in favour of “seller” on so many different levels As “buyers” we were almost looked down upon and treated as if an imposition. .. There were brazen lies told and scam like attempts to rip us off. And then there was Mike Cormack, our mortgage broker. He was nothing but professional. He dresses so beautifully and exudes a sense of calm. Mike worked so hard on our behalf. The banks didn’t like that at I was self employed and were rejecting our applications. We were on a strict deadline and it was super stressful. Mike never gave up until and found a solution at the eleventh hour. He is an excellent communicator and kept us in the loop at all times. Mike was simply fantastic to have on our side. Just a few weeks ago we received an email from him out of the blue. He had been working behind the scenes and negotiated a sizeable rate reduction with our bank who, consequently, reduced the monthly repayment. Amazing service. Most definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
