I'm Milad, founder and director of Thrift Capital — a Sydney-based finance brokerage built specifically for self employed Australians, ABN holders, sole traders, and SME directors.

Before starting Thrift Capital, I spent years working in finance and developed a clear frustration with how poorly traditional lenders serve business owners. The paperwork they ask for rarely reflects how a self employed person actually earns money and most brokers don't specialise enough to navigate that gap properly.

We focus exclusively on the self employed market across eight finance verticals: equipment and asset finance, commercial property, residential home loans, business loans, invoice and trade finance, cashflow lending, construction and private lending, and debt consolidation.

My clients are tradies, transport operators, civil contractors, company directors, and small business owners across Sydney and nationally. Most of them have been knocked back by a bank or told they need two years of tax returns before they can access finance. We find a way when banks say no.
