Our experience with Nam started off extremely positively. In the beginning, he was phenomenal he helped us change banks, made the whole process easy and was always prompt, approachable and easy to reach. We then went on to purchase our investment property through him and were reassured that the process would be handled for us and that we wouldn’t need to deal directly with the builder. Unfortunately, about halfway through our build, things changed significantly. When issues started arising with the build, including an incorrect facade, we found ourselves having to deal directly with the builder. Due to the lack of communication and support from Ascot Mortgage as the mediator, what we were told would be a smooth process became extremely stressful. What was most disappointing was the change in communication from Nam himself. Someone who had initially been so easy to reach became almost impossible to hear from. We would email him regarding issues and receive responses from staff members instead, but rarely from Nam directly. We have now completely settled the investment property that Nam sold to us, and we still have not received so much as a phone call, email or follow-up from him. After being so involved at the beginning of the process, to have no communication at the end has been extremely disappointing and, in our opinion, very unprofessional. Unfortunately, the service and communication we received in the second half of our experience did not reflect what was promised to us at the beginning.
