Peter Gomm is a mortgage broker who's been in finance for 44 years – 20 with Westpac and the past 24 as a broker. He loves broking because he can provide clients with personalised service and make a real difference. Working at Gomm Finance, clients find we are easy to deal with, and how painless we make the process compared to their previous experiences dealing directly with their bank.
Peter gets a kick out of helping people with finance to get them into their new home. He loves saving clients money on their existing loan by getting them a better deal, and loves it when a client has applied for a loan with their bank without success and we get the finance approved (and at a better rate).
At Gomm Finance, we’re all about relationships. We want to have a lifelong association with our clients – helping them with finance to buy a new home or renovate their existing home, buy shares or an investment property, get a better deal from their existing bank or a new bank, and later helping their kids when they are ready to buy their first home. It’s all very satisfying.
On a personal level, Peter has been married to Lynette for 21 years and we love travelling, experiencing other cultures and exploring new food and wines. His other passions are fly fishing and the West Coast Eagles.
