As an ex-banker my career in banking and finance spans almost 30 years and has seen me successfully manage hundreds of complex commercial financial transactions while providing strategic guidance to businesses of all sizes – from start-ups to large corporates and everything in between.
I started my career in banking and finance in the late 1990s in Townsville with Westpac, providing business funding solutions for regional businesses statewide, including those located in the western farming districts. Additionally, I held senior commercial lending roles at Suncorp Bank with my client list extending from the Gold Coast to Far North Queensland and including businesses from a broad range of industries – tourism, hospitality, education, medical, real estate, commercial property development and even farming.
