Ricky was AMAZING to work with. My husband and I had been looking to purchase our first investment property and were initially working with a different broker from another company. We applied for my father in law to go guarantor, and were told everything was fine, however last minute our loan was declined. After this experience, we reached out to Ricky, who came highly recommended by a friend, and he was able to not only help us get the guarantor loan approved (saving us LMI costs), but also figure out a way to structure our loan that allowed us to keep our cash in our offset account instead of putting it all towards upfront costs. He was highly knowledgeable, professional, and super responsive (even on weekends and late at night), as well as extremely transparent and honest. TL;DR: This is our first investment property. Without Ricky as our broker, we expected to have $0 in our account on settlement, and a high interest LMI loan. With Ricky as our broker, we've kept every single dollar we've saved, paid no LMI, and with a lower rate than we expected. We originally went to another broken for a loan on our first investment property. We had enough cash for a 10% deposit, but my dad was happy to go as guarantor. We were told this was going to be fine. When we went for formal approval, the bank declined it because he didn't meet their guarantor requirements. We missed out on that property and were told that everything was going to be out of pocket on the next one: the 10% deposit, stamp duty, solicitors fees, and buyers agent fees. We would've had literally $0 in our account on settlement. Then we got into contact with Ricky. On the next property, he found a way for my dad to go guarantor for a 20% deposit. He also built stamp duty, solicitors fees, and buyers agent fees into the loan. This meant we kept all our cash and avoided paying LMI. We didn't even know this was possible. This was an unbelievable result. We've got financial security knowing there's cash on hand for emergencies. And all with a lower rate on the loan. We'll be working with Ricky on our next investment (which will be coming sooner than expected given this result).
