Smita ensures all her clients are fully educated about the borrowing process. "I focus on providing clear, thorough explanations of fees, the process, and what’s required of my clients, so they know exactly what’s happening and when as their application progresses," Smita says. "I consider myself to be part of their journey, and I’m here to hold their hand from start to finish, every step of the way."

Before joining Mortgage Choice, Smita worked with one of Australia’s big-four banks for seven years, including two years in a lending role. "During this time, I helped many clients with their home buying journey, reviewing their existing home loans, and providing professional advice and support," she says.

A high performer who consistently overachieved on KPIs throughout her banking career, Smita Vira has successfully completed the Home Buying Academy course and RG146 training. Her personable, caring, and friendly nature, combined with her natural flair for numbers, has earned her professional recognition. In 2019, she received the bank’s prestigious 'Best of the Best' award.
