We went through Aussie Home Loans as first home buyers, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. After sophie pushing for the first initial appointment we thought this would be great however we were wrong. As this was our first home, we relied heavily on clear guidance and communication — which was consistently lacking throughout the process. We did everything that was asked of us promptly and provided all required documents as quickly as possible, yet this level of urgency was not returned on their end. At one point, the delays and poor communication nearly cost us the house, which was incredibly stressful and upsetting. When we raised our concerns in an email, instead of taking accountability or working to resolve the situation, the blame was shifted back onto us — which felt unfair given we had followed every instruction. Buying your first home should feel supported and guided, not confusing and stressful. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Aussie Home Loans to first home buyers.
