0 star! My husband and I have had the most disgusting experience with mortgage choice Bundaberg. Mainly Liz and Tyler to be specific. For some unknown reason Liz decided she didn’t like us without even meeting us and only have spoken to us a couple times over the phone. 1. To book an appointment and 2. Cancel the appointment and reschedule for a later date during the year. When my husband rang and asked if he could cancel the appointment due to our circumstances changing which he mentioned to her over the phone and asked if we can call back in the near future to reschedule when we are a little more stable and she responded with that’s fine… no big deal. He asked if he could wait to fill out the paper work until we book another appointment with Tyler and again she responded with that’s fine. She did not communicate in anyway for us to still fill out the paperwork for Tyler. Fast forward a few months and we’ve been trying for WEEKS to get an appointment with Tyler and LIZ kept telling us multiple times he’s fully booked up or he’s not in that day. Or just ignoring our calls all together. My husband rang on the 2/7/25 and Liz didn’t realise who he was and took his information again and booked us an appointment. Last night we finished off the paperwork and sent it back. Went through the email for the zoom meeting to make sure everything was ready and found that LIZ had somehow attach a note that was for Tyler but attach it to our email as well. Saying horrible things about my husband Calling him names and LYING. And then asking what excuse they can come up with to cancel the appointment- should I say you’re sick that day? We took a photo and emailed it straight to Tyler asking an explanation. Which he replied with a short apology but more concerned about us not filling in the paper work. And that he didn’t know anything about it and doesn’t check his emails or notes until before the meeting.And that she would call us for a sincere apology. Liz did ring later in the day and apologised but it wasn’t very sincere it was more I’m sorry I got caught! It’s very disturbing that Liz was comfortable in the first place to write an email to Tyler saying any of that in the first place which makes me believe it’s probably not the first time she’s bad mouth a client. And would Tyler of pulled her up for it if she didn’t accidentally send it to us as well? We did nothing wrong and we were polite and to be treated with so much disrespect because we canceled 1 appointment because our circumstances changed? I would be embarrassed to have someone like these guys working for me. Great way to build up your reputation 👍🏻 We will be putting in a formal complaint and reporting it to the AFCA.
