Astute Financial helped us with the purchase of our new home in Brisbane, a land-and-build property. To secure the property, we had to first sell our townhouse; however, we were short of time as the finance approval to show to our builder was due soon. We had to stretch our finances to get this initial approval (as our townhouse wasn't sold just as yet). Vishwa and Bonita were really tactical and got us conditional approval for a bridging loan so that we could get past this crucial first step + also buy some time to sell our townhouse. This was a smart calculated risk - as they advised us to go unconditional to the builder so that we lock-in the property. We then sold our townhouse and were in a much better position - so Vishwa and Bonita went shopping again for a bank with a highly competitive rate - and got us unconditional finance plus some extra funds with a quick turnaround time - perfect for a timely and smooth settlement! This was a complex enough case as it involved bridging loan, selling, then a regular loan - and also because our finances involved incomes from ABNs, which as you can expect, banks don't always evaluate as we'd would like them to. At every step, they advised us really well, kept continually in touch, and behind the scenes really pushed the banks hard to get the approvals in time.
