Amy Beattie is a Melbourne-based mortgage broker and the founder of Good Green Home Loans, a mortgage broking service with a clear mission: helping Australians secure the right home loan at a great rate, exclusively through environmentally responsible lenders that do not use their profits and power to support the fossil fuel industry.

With over 15 years of experience in one of Australia's major banks, Amy built her career on the genuine satisfaction of helping people achieve their financial goals. Over time, however, she became increasingly aware of the financial services industry's significant role in funding fossil fuels, and felt called to create something more meaningful.

That awareness led Amy to launch Good Green Home Loans in 2018, bringing together her deep knowledge of the finance industry and her personal commitment to protecting the environment. She understands that most Australians are unaware that their bank actively invests in fossil fuels, and she has made it her purpose to offer a real alternative, one that aligns smart financial decisions with personal values.

Amy works with clients who are buying their first home, investing in property, refinancing, or simply looking for a starting point. Her approach is warm, knowledgeable, and deeply people-focused.

Good Green Home Loans also puts its success to work for the wider community. Since opening, the business has donated over $11,000 to causes including Unicef, Sisterworks, and Beyond Blue. From 2025 onwards, $100 from every settlement is invested through Six, Australia's first shareholder activism trading platform, driving change on issues like climate, environmental degradation, and inequality.
