James played a huge part in helping our family achieve our dream of relocating from New Zealand to the Gold Coast and ultimately getting into the home we wanted. In fact, I first started speaking with James around a year before we actually made the move, exploring our options and what might be possible. From the very beginning, James was incredibly knowledgeable, approachable and willing to put the time into understanding our situation and our goals. Throughout that entire year, James stayed in regular contact with me, keeping me up to date with the local property and lending market and letting me know how we were tracking. He never made us feel like just another client. He genuinely invested in our journey and was always there when we needed advice or reassurance. Relocating countries and purchasing a home at the same time can be an incredibly nerve-racking and stressful experience. Having James by our side throughout the process made such a difference. He guided us through every step, kept things calm when they became stressful, and always gave us confidence that there was a way forward. Our purchase unfortunately hit a number of speed bumps along the way, none of which were the fault of our broker. However, James handled every single situation with the professionalism, persistence and calmness of someone who truly knows what they’re doing. He went above and beyond to work through some very difficult situations, and I honestly believe many other brokers would have struggled to get us through them. James was always available, communicated exceptionally well and never made us feel like we were asking too much. Nothing was ever a problem, and he consistently went the extra mile to make sure everything possible was being done to get us across the line. The team at Nectar Mortgages were incredible, but James in particular deserves a massive amount of credit. He is not only an outstanding mortgage broker but also a genuinely top guy, and it was an absolute pleasure having him alongside us throughout such a massive chapter in our lives. We truly believe that without James’s expertise, persistence and guidance, we may not have been able to secure the dream home we wanted. We couldn’t have asked for anything more from James.
