About John Ng

I am Melbourne Inner West's favourite Bald & Bespectacled broker, with a keen interest in community engagement and social media.

I don't like being on hold for 30 minutes, as my banker never picks up the phone, and doesn't explain anything to me. Guess what, I won't put you on hold for 30 minutes either.

I never studied marketing nor have any formal training in social media, but I believe in authenticity with 'Your face' branding.

Authenticity means different things to different people.

For some, if they have it, I guess they can flaunt their physical assets, as they've been blessed by a lucky gene pool.

Others, they are born with a silver spoon and have an armada of social media + network to build their empire.

Alas, I have neither.

I wake up every morning, wondering to myself, "Who can I educate today? Who can I have a positive influence on today?"

It's never easy to juggle a 6,000-follower strong community page + a family broking business.

I'm not your average 'Mortgage or Finance Broker'. I'm definitely not going to sell 'Best rate' or 'Best service'.

Every broker does that.

I'm just a qualified journalist, who fell into finance while juggling a Finance Broking business, and know a thing or two about community engagement.
