We had banked with NAB for many years, but decided to see if we could improve our loan situation with the help of a Mortgage Broker. So we decided to engage the services Smartmove Mortgage Advisors, who my wife Donna had had dealings with in her job as a Real Estate Agent. We were put in touch with Tom Morison from Smartmove. Smartmove have been outstanding in helping me find the ideal loan for my first property. Right from the start they were happy to answer all questions (and there sure were a lot, cheers Tom!) and they ensured the entire process was as streamlined as possible from pre-approval stage through to post settlement and beyond. For anyone considering whether to go with a mortgage broker or directly to a lender, I'd highly recommend going with the broker option, as their knowledge (particularly on personalised loan structuring), lender contacts and negotiating power can save you thousands in the long run, all for no cost to the individual. Good brokers are there for you the entire way, and Smartmove are at the absolute top of their game. I will be using them for future lending requirements with absolutely no hesitation at all.
