Review for Tim Gibbons

Tim Gibbons

Aglend

For anyone not aware, the analysts used by this broker are based in The Phillipines. This can result in less than accurate reviews of your financial position. If you are at all concerned about where your financial information ends up when you apply for a loan, I would avoid this broker! EDIT - 27 April, 2026 - IN RESPONSE TO TIM'S BELOW RESPONSE. Thank you Tim, for your below response. For anyone searching for reviews of AgLend Finance, I can confirm that this does indeed relate to a genuine client experience. I can further confirm that my experience with AgLend included an assessment which was undertaken by a team member based in The Phillipines. My suspicions were raised during the assessment, as it wasn't possible to speak with the analyst who was assisting me to clarify any details. Emails were also received well outside of Qld business hours. There was also a significant error made in the analysis, which local knowledge would have picked up. A quick search of LinkedIn confirmed very quickly that the person who was analysing my personal financial information was indeed based in The Phillipines. It also confirmed that there were several other current employees based in The Phillipines, as well as previous employees based in The Phillipines. The fact that personal financial information is assessed offshore was not communicated prior to me providing that information. EDIT - 5 May, 2026 - IN RESPONSE TO TIM'S RESPONSE DATED 29 APRIL, 2026. Thank you Tim for your response. The information that has so far been shared by me does not include any personal financial information or application details - and given that is my information, if I choose to share it, that's my choice, not AgLend's. I have also not disclosed the names of any staff members. As I did, anyone is able to look on LinkedIn and view the employees of AgLend, if that employee has listed their employer as AgLend. It is publicly available. I am sharing my experience with AgLend on a review site, which includes concern around the use of staff in The Phillipines, the lack of transparency on AgLend's part around where its analysts are located, and the continued lack of acknowledgment that AgLend is sending people's personal data offshore without their knowledge or consent. Other people might be concerned about that too...
